Who We Are

Our Roots

Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2022, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Association Thierno Amadou Moctar Sakho( TAMS).  We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits. Our main goal as stated by the voucher delivered to us by the government of Mauritania ( the Ministry of Interior and Decentralization No : FA 010000222910202204731) does list the following:

1- The socioeconomic development contributing to the improvement of population’s conditions of life.

2- Domains of intervention:   - Eliminating hunger;   - Ensuring food security;    - Improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture;     - Access to basic healthcare;     - And last but not least, reinforcing national unity through education by putting the focus on training and insertion in the workforce.

Notre force ne repose pas seulement sur notre profession de foi mais surtout dans le déroulement des actions de nos activités. À partir du moment où nos activités ont démarré en 2022, nous étions dans la ferme conviction que tous les citoyens doivent se donner la main dans un grand élan de solidarité afin de relever nos  défis de manière efficiente, et c’est pourquoi nous avions décidé de lancer l’initiative de la création de TAMS. Nous essayons de nous surpasser afin d’apporter un changement qualitatif et positif aux buts poursuivis.

Notre raison principale d’existence est en accord avec le libellé du récépissé que le Ministère mauritanien de l’intérieur et de la Décentralisation nous a délivré ( No: FA 010000222910202204731) et qui établit notre domaine d’actions :

1- Le développement socio-économique contribuant à l’amélioration des conditions de vie des populations.

2- Domaines d’intervention;

- Éradiquer  la faim.

- Assurer la sécurité alimentaire.

- Améliorer la nutrition et promouvoir une agriculture durable.

- Accès aux soins primaires de santé.

- Dernier point et non des moindres : renforcer l’unité nationale grâce à l’éducation pour former des citoyens avertis tout en mettant l’accent sur la formation continue et l’insertion dans le tissu économique.
